Regina S. Mcdaniel

Regina S. McDaniel, CPA is a partner at Mauldin & Jenkins and a Certified Public Accountant in Huntsville, Alabama. She has a broad background in individual corporate and estate taxation, audits of commercial banks, and SEC filings. Before joining Mauldin & Jenkins, Regina was a partner at MDG Professional Group, P.C., and a member of the firm’s Taxation and Recruiting Committees.

Before employment with MDG, Regina worked with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in the tax and small business departments followed by 37 years with the Huntsville, Alabama office of MDA Professional Group, P.C.. She also worked with the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent. Today Regina specializes in individual tax planning and in the valuation of closely-held businesses. She is able to provide her clients with accounting advice that is appropriate for their specific needs based on her detailed knowledge of current tax codes and regulations and her years of experience with local businesses and individuals.

Regina is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of CPAs (ASCPA). She is currently a member of the Federal Taxation Committee of the ASCPA and has been actively involved with organizing the statewide Tax Hotline. Regina is also the past Chairman of the Women and Family Issues Committee of the ASCPA and past Chairman of the Huntsville-Decatur chapter of the ASCPA.

Regina graduated from Auburn University with the highest honors. She is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville, Alabama, and the Junior League of Huntsville. She and her husband Ken have one son.
