Joe is a former healthcare entrepreneur, consultant, and operations executive focused on enabling healthcare and not-for-profit organizations transform in response to changing market and operational demands. He has helped launch both for-profit and non-profit start-ups. Consulting clients included Andersen Consulting (Accenture), Kaiser Permanente, other managed care providers and pharmaceutical companies. Operational positions at Kaiser Permanente included Assistant Regional Medical Center Administrator for operational innovation and Medical Center Administrator for South San Francisco. Joe holds a Harvard University MBA and a UC Berkeley engineering degree.
