David Porras Angulo

David Porras Angulo has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. David is currently a Senior Engineer at MAVERICK Technologies, a Rockwell Automation Company, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Automation Engineer at Trinity Consultants - Advent Engineering Life Science Solutions from September 2021 to November 2022.

From May 2015 to November 2020, David worked as a PSS Engineer at Emerson, where they performed various tasks across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring design consistency, quality control of engineering deliverables, and coordinating local resources for third party configuration.

Before Emerson, David briefly worked as a Calibration Technician at DMI Metrologia from February 2015 to May 2015.

From May 2013 to January 2015, they served as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at NAP de Centroamérica, overseeing the proper operation and maintenance of automatic transfers, precision air conditioners, industrial UPS, and monitoring CCTV.

David began their career as an Electromechanical Technician at Soati, where they were responsible for electrical drawings of industrial automation projects, designing and coordinating the assembly and wiring of control and power electrical panels, and managing inventory of materials. David'stenure at Soati lasted from October 2011 to May 2013.

David Porras Angulo completed their education at two institutions. From 2012 to 2016, they attended the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, where they obtained a Grado en Ingeniería (Bachelor's degree) in Ingeniería electrónica y comunicaciones (Electronic engineering and communications). Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, they studied at Colegio técnico profesional Don Bosco, obtaining their Bachillerato (high school diploma) in Técnico electromecánico (Electromechanical technician).
