Marta Carvajal

Marta Carvajal has extensive work experience in the automation industry. Marta started their career in 1989 at Hi-Ran Systems, Inc., where they held various roles including inside sales, assistant to the CFO, proposal and estimating, prequalification, purchasing/sourcing, and project management for field instruments. In 1997, Hi-Ran Systems was acquired by GE Automation Services, where Marta continued working in proposal and estimating until September 2006.

In 2006, Marta became the owner of their own company, Marta Carvajal. Then, in January 2019, they joined MAVERICK Technologies, A Rockwell Automation Company, where they currently hold the position of PEG & Sourcing Analyst.

Marta Carvajal received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Hollins University, which they attended from 1981 to 1985. Marta then pursued a second Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of South Florida from 1985 to 1986. In 1986, Marta Carvajal enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin for Russian Studies, although they did not complete a degree at this institution. Later, in 2005 to 2007, Marta Carvajal attended Central Piedmont Community College where they studied Graphic Design.

Additionally, Marta Carvajal obtained several certifications in Photoshop and Illustrator. These certifications include: "Advanced Photoshop: Blending, Masking, and Compositing," "Photoshop Masking and Compositing: Fundamentals," "Photoshop for Designers: Type Effects," "Photoshop for Designers: Type Essentials," "Photoshop CC 2018 One-on-One: Advanced," "Illustrator CC 2017 One-on-One Mastery," "Photoshop CC 2018 One-on-One: Fundamentals," "Illustrator CC 2018 One-on-One Advanced," and "Illustrator CC 2018 One-on-One Fundamentals." Marta Carvajal obtained these certifications from Lynda.com in the months of May, June, July, and August of 2018.
