Brent Whitmore

Brent Whitmore is an experienced visual effects professional currently serving as Comp Supervisor and Head of 2D Compositing Department at Mavericks VFX since January 2022. With a long tenure at Technicolor from November 2005 to the present, Brent has worked as a Feature Film and TV Series Visual Effects Compositor as well as a Commercial and Film Visual Effects Artist, focusing on delivering high-quality visual effects by collaborating closely with directors and agencies. Prior to Mavericks, Brent held the position of VFX Comp Supervisor/Compositor at Ghost VFX from May 2021 to January 2022. Brent's career began in the late 1990s, working as a flame assistant at D.A.V.E and as a Commercial Online Designer at DKP/IDT Entertainment. Educational background includes a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting with a specialization in special effects from Conestoga College.
