Thomas J. White

Tom White has been a leader in biotechnology research and development for over 30 years, serving as a Senior V.P. of Research and Development at three major innovators in that time, including Cetus Corporation, Roche Molecular Systems, and Celera Diagnostics. His deep experience in developing molecular tests for medical and basic research applications has given him a unique perspective on the current and future needs of the biotech industry. Dr. White received his B.A. in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley. His postdoctoral research was carried out at the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco and at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
