Once a Stop-Out/ Near Completer, Art Caines attended six (6) different institutions over 10 years, taking a total of 190+ credit hours, finally completing his degree at University of Nebraska Lincoln. Why? Like many students today, life circumstances happened – like pursuing his baseball dream as a Detroit Tiger Minor Leaguer, followed by arising financial and family needs. Lexicon Networks Inc was founded in 2008, providing Art with an opportunity in the technology industry to meet his client’s needs by both executing on engagements and listening to their respective problems to find creative solutions. Upon hearing one client’s problem, Art deployed his curiosity and astutely used his technology expertise to develop Max-Grad. While reflecting on his own personal college journey he learned that the five (5) institutions where he stopped out had never tried to contact him to inquire why and/or what they could do to help him to re-enroll. Obviously, Art always had it in mind to return. He realized that if any of those institutions had reached out and nudged him earlier, he would have earned his degree a lot sooner. Art knows Max-Grad’s audience in a way that allows him to provide essential insights for targeted marketing campaigns. With over 20 years in the tech sector and having worked with cutting edge fortune 500 organizations across sectors, Art is a seasoned technology and IT executive of the highest caliber.
