Cristian Macchia

Cristian Macchia, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Cristian currently holds the position of Chief Financial and Operations Officer ANZ at Max Mara Fashion Group, a role they assumed in August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the CFO of Max Mara North America from February 2022 to August 2023. Before their tenure at Max Mara, Cristian worked at Marriott International from August 2018 to February 2022 as a Finance Manager. Their career also includes a significant period at KPMG Italy, where they served as a Supervising Senior Auditor from February 2013 to August 2018.

Cristian Macchia, MBA, holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from SDA Bocconi, obtained from 2020 to 2022. Cristian also completed an exchange program on global economics, markets, and institutions at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2022. In 2021, they attended Cornell University and received a degree in Understanding Financial Statements. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Cristian completed a Master of Science in Business Administration from Università degli Studi di Parma, spanning from 2013 to 2016. Cristian also earned a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from the same university between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Preventing Discrimination & Harassment from Traliant in 2022.
