Abhinna Sundar

Abhinna Sundar is a dedicated researcher currently affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy and the University of Heidelberg since August 2023, while also serving as a Young Scientist at the Hector Fellow Academy. Abhinna's previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at the European Southern Observatory and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, where significant projects involved analyzing distance measurements to nearby galaxies and studying interacting galaxy systems. Additionally, Abhinna contributed as a Research Collaborator at the Indian Space Research Organisation, developing a pipeline for solar flare detection. Abhinna is pursuing a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Heidelberg University, building on a strong academic foundation in Physics from IISER, Mohali.
