Darren Hooper

Darren Hooper is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational management. Currently serving as the Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Executive General Manager of Strategy at MAX since September 2014, Darren has previously held senior roles at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, including First Assistant Secretary of the Programme and Support Division and State Manager for Queensland. Earlier experience includes serving as State Manager at the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. Darren's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honours in Commercial Law and a Bachelor of Management in Human Resources and Workplace Relations from the University of Canberra, along with a Diploma of Project Management from the University of New England.
