Shiew Bun Lau

Shiew Bun Lau is a highly experienced engineer specializing in systems engineering and RF design, currently serving as Systems Engineering Cohort Manager and BP Manager at Maxar Technologies since February 2019. Previously, Shiew spent over eleven years at SSL, where the role progressed from Lead RF Payload Systems Engineer to SSL CORE Engineering Manager, overseeing multi-payload satellite projects and ensuring compliance with RF budgets and analyses. Shiew has also contributed to leadership roles outside of engineering, serving as Interim Executive Leadership Team Member and Conference Director for World Christian Fellowship. Shiew's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF from California Polytechnic State University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
