Zachary Nishino

Zachary Nishino serves as the Robotics Director of Technology Application & Business Strategy at Maxar Technologies, where responsibilities include customer outreach, technology research, and systems engineering. With a robust background in mechanical design, Zachary has held key leadership positions, including Robotics Advanced Systems Group Lead and Mechanical Design Section Manager, overseeing teams on high-profile projects such as DARPA's Robotic Servicing of Geosynchronous Satellites and NASA's RESTORE-L. Prior experience also encompasses roles as a research fellow at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and undergraduate research internships at the University of Florida and the University of New Mexico, complemented by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
