Kok Chiang Sor

Kok Chiang Sor has over two decades of finance and management experience. Currently, they serve as the Finance Director - Operation Supply Chain FP&A at Maxeon Solar Technologies. Prior to that, they held the position of BU / APAC Finance Director at OSRAM for six years, where they were responsible for financial target fulfillment, coaching operation controlling teams, planning budgeting processes, portfolio management, and negotiation with subcontractors and key suppliers. Before OSRAM, they worked as the Finance Director at Canadian General Tower, where they provided leadership and counsel on accounting, tax, treasury, financial reporting, and compliance matters. Kok Chiang also implemented processes to ensure timely financial reporting to stakeholders. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Manager Financial Controlling at Infineon Technologies, where they were responsible for various financial tasks, including month-end closing, value flow analysis, and risk and compliance reviews. Kok Chiang also served as a Corporate Audit Manager at Infineon Technologies and Assurance and Business Advisory Manager at Ernst & Young.

Kok Chiang Sor completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and Marketing from Alliance Manchester Business School, from 2010 to 2013. Kok Chiang also attended the Investment Banking Institute from 2014 to 2015, where they participated in the Investment Banking Training Program for Financial Evaluation. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, they studied Accountancy at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" in 2023, "Understanding the Impact of Deepfake Videos" and "What to Do in the First 90 Days of Your New Job" in 2021, "How to Give Negative Feedback to Senior Colleagues" and "Motivating and Engaging Employees" in 2020, and "Fred Kofman on Managing Conflict" and "Note-Taking for Business Professionals" in 2016.
