Sekhar Ray

Sekhar Ray is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Maxeon Solar Technologies since 2020, Ray oversees global IT strategy and operations. Previously, Ray held several key positions at EssilorLuxottica from 2008 to 2019, including SVP & CIO for multiple regions and Global CIO for the Essilor-Nikon joint venture, as well as SVP & CIO of Essilor of America. Prior to that, Ray was the Global Vice President of Solutions Delivery at Mondelēz International, focusing on IT solutions for a $12 billion global business. Earlier roles include positions at Dell and Trilogy, with Ray starting a career at Citigroup as VP/Program Director. Ray earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 1988.
