Kira Mortensen

Kira Mortensen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kira began their career as a Hostess at TGI Fridays in 2013 before working as a Service Representative at 24 Hour Fitness from 2013 to 2016. Kira then served as a Head Cashier and Grill Cook at Gourmet Food Truck Sizzler USA from 2011 to 2014. Kira acquired extensive training and knowledge in the food and beverage industry while working as a Lead Server Trainer at Hyatt Regency from 2015 to 2018. Kira also worked at Marriott International as a Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant and Server from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, they joined Better as a Sales Development Associate, where they exceeded goals and facilitated customer interactions. Currently, Kira is working at Maxim Healthcare Staffing as a Recruiter, taking on the role of Lead Recruiter in 2022.

Kira Mortensen received their education from Fullerton College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in General Studies from 2011 to 2015. Kira then attended Cypress College from 2015 to 2016 and earned a Room Operations Certificate in Hospitality Administration/Management. From 2017 to 2018, Kira pursued further education at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in the field of Hospitality Administration/Management. In addition to their formal education, Kira has obtained various certifications such as the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, AED Certification, CPR Certification, and the Cvent Supplier Network Certificate of Excellence. Kira also holds a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator License from NMLS, obtained in 2021.
