Chinedu Ofokansi

Chinedu Ofokansi began their work experience in 2002 as a Bancassurance Officer at African Development Insurance Company. Chinedu then worked as an Accounting Intern at Phillips, Kobbs & Co, Chartered Certified Accountants from 2007-2008. From 2008-2014, they held the position of Internal Control and AML/Compliance at Diamond Bank Plc, and later transitioned to the role of Regional Credit Monitoring & AR (Business Banking) from 2014-2019. In 2019, Chinedu joined Access Bank Plc as a Senior Credit Analyst in the Commercial Banking Division. In 2020, they worked as a Collection Officer at Commercial Credit Adjusters Ltd before joining Maxim Truck and Trailer in 2020. At Maxim Truck and Trailer, they first served as a Credit Analyst from 2020-2022, and currently holds the position of Credit Director.

Chinedu Ofokansi has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. They also pursued Professional, Applied and Continuing Education in Project Management at The University of Winnipeg. In addition, Chinedu obtained an MSc in Finance and Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire.

Furthermore, Chinedu holds several certifications. They have ITIL® 4 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in August 2021. Chinedu is also a Certified Credit Profession (CCP) from The Credit Institute of Canada, earned in April 2020. They obtained the Certified International Credit Professional (CICP) certification from FCIB in August 2018. Lastly, Chinedu has a Certificate in Business Accounting from CIMA, although the specific details regarding the obtained month and year are unavailable.
