Ulrich Wienrich

Ulrich Wienrich currently serves as Senior Director of Platform Engineering and Customer Support at MaxLinear, overseeing engineering activities related to broadband and router systems in Taipei since August 2020. With a rich background in technology, Ulrich has held significant roles at Intel Corporation as Director in the Connected Home Division, and at Lantiq Taiwan, where management of global Application and System Development activities for CPE Gateways was a primary responsibility. Before that, Ulrich was at Infineon Technologies, directing System Development for CPE Gateways and leading them to a #1 market position. Earlier academic roles included Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and teaching positions at the University of Glamorgan. Ulrich holds a PhD in Electronics from the University of South Wales, a Dipl.-Ing. in Communication Technology from Ostfalia - University of Applied Sciences, and completed studies in Information Technology Electronics at Technische Universität Clausthal.
