Director Of New Product Development at Maya HTT

Chris Blake has a diversified work experience in various roles at several companies. Chris started their career at Maya HTT in 2003 as a Consulting Assistant. Chris then joined Algonquin Automotive as a Product Engineering Assistant for a co-op position. Later, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Messier-Bugatti-Dowty and as a Systems Engineering Assistant (Co-op) at Ultra Electronics - CONTROLS. Chris returned to Maya HTT as an Analyst, where they conducted thermal and computational fluid dynamics analyses and provided pre-sales and post-sales customer support. Chris then took on the role of Thermal-Flow Services Manager and Product Manager, where they reviewed software development projects, coordinated activities, and managed a team of engineers. Chris's next role was Manager of Engineering Services, where they oversaw professional services and worked with the sales organization to develop business opportunities. Chris then transitioned to Senior Solutions Architect, collaborating with key customers and managing software development projects. Most recently, Chris served as the Director of New Product Development at Maya HTT, leading the evaluation and incubation of new product ideas and initiatives.

Chris Blake has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which they obtained between 2001 and 2006. In 2008, they pursued a Space Studies Certificate in Satellite Applications at the International Space University. Following this, Chris completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Honours Science from CEGEP - John Abbott College, obtained from 1999 to 2001. In 2014, Chris obtained the Engineer certification from the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec.
