Michael Hagel is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design and user research. Currently serving as the Director of Product Design & User Research at Olympus Corporation of the Americas, Michael leads a global team focused on advancing endoscopy workflow management solutions. Additionally, Michael founded MaybeForYou, an independent design studio, and provides consulting services. Previous roles include Principal Product Designer at Hinge Health, where Michael spearheaded the design for a next-generation clinical platform, and Lead Product Designer at WHOOP, managing various aspects of app design and user experience. Michael's career also encompasses significant leadership positions in design and technology across multiple organizations, supported by an educational background in Interactive Media Design from The Art Institutes.
