Barry Mehew has extensive work experience in various roles related to pricing strategy, legal project management, client planning, and financial and commercial due diligence. Barry currently serves as the Chief Pricing and Value Officer at Mayer Brown, where they are responsible for pricing and value strategies. Previously, they held the position of Global Director of Pricing Strategy & Legal Project Management at Mayer Brown. Barry has also worked as an Advisory Board Member at LawVision LLC and as the Director of Client Planning at Littler Mendelson. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services, where they led buy and sell side due diligence on numerous private equity transactions. Barry started their career as a Commercial Finance Director at Accenture & Accenture HR Services and later worked as a Corporate Planning Executive at Premier Foods.
Barry Mehew obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, and Business Law from Curtin University between 1986 and 1988. Barry then pursued a Chartered Accountant degree from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 1989 to 1991. In addition to their academic qualifications, Barry also obtained several certifications, including Accredited Legal Project Management Professional (ALPM) and Accredited Legal Pricing Professional (ALPP) from the True Value Partnering Institute in 2018, as well as Legal Project Management from LawVision Group LLC in 2011.
