Mahendra Samal

Mahendra Samal is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in the hotel and hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Corporate Dy. General Manager of HR at MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts since February 2022, Mahendra oversees HR operations for over 3000 employees. Prior experience includes a role as Corporate HR Head at The HHI group of Hotels, managing over 2000 employees from 2012 to February 2022, and HR Head at MAYFAIR Hotels & Resorts from July 2006 to September 2012. Additional roles in training at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Taj Hotels enhance Mahendra's expertise. Mahendra holds an EDPHRM from XLRI Jamshedpur, an MBA in Human Resources Management from Siksha O Anusandhan Corporate Relation, a degree in Hotel Management from Utkal University, and an MCom in Commerce from the same university.
