James MacHaria

James Macharia has over 17 years of practical experience in the insurance industry, with various roles at different companies. James has held positions such as Head of Underwriting, Underwriting Manager, Deputy Underwriting Manager, and Senior Underwriter. James is an insurance expert who is skilled in offering insurance solutions to customers, as well as coaching and mentoring their team. James is hardworking, confident, reliable, and of high integrity. James has worked at companies such as Mayfair Insurance Company Limited, Tausi Assurance Company Limited, UAP Insurance Company Limited, Jubilee Insurance Company Limited, and ICEA Insurance Company Limited.

James Macharia completed their education in a chronological order. In 1990, they attended Njiiri High School and completed their K.C.S.E. In 1995, they entered the University of Nairobi and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Insurance, which they completed in 1999. Following this, from 2000 to 2003, James studied at the Chartered Institute of Insurance and obtained an ACII qualification in Insurance. Finally, in 2013 to 2015, they returned to the University of Nairobi and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, with a focus on Strategic Management.
