Michiel Zuidweg

Michiel Zuidweg is an experienced Senior Microgrid Specialist at Mayfield Renewables since January 2023 and the Principal at MZ Solar Consulting since May 2020, specializing in photovoltaic system and microgrid design, project management, and construction. Previously, Michiel served as Chief Operations Officer and Director of Commercial Projects at Puget Sound Solar from June 2007 to May 2019, where effective team leadership and the creation of project management tools were instrumental in the successful execution of large commercial projects. Michiel began with Puget Sound Solar as a Senior Construction Project Manager and Project Manager, focusing on residential PV project installation and management. Michiel holds a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Colorado College.
