Lina Meinel

Lina Meinel, Ph.D., serves as the Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Mayo Clinic College of Science and Medicine since September 2024 and holds the position of International Marketing Director at the Mayo Clinic since January 2024. Prior experience includes Marketing Director for Oncology Solutions at GE HealthCare from June 2023 to January 2024, and a notable tenure at Philips from October 2020 to June 2023 as Oncology Solutions & Oncology Informatics Marketing Leader. Earlier roles at Philips Healthcare included Senior Clinical Manager for Women's Healthcare, where Lina developed strategies for the Middle East and Turkey markets, and Program Officer in Healthcare supporting healthcare research portfolios. Lina's career in research began as a Senior Research Scientist focused on breast cancer at the University of Chicago Oncology Center. Both a Ph.D. holder in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and Damascus University, Lina brings extensive expertise in oncology solutions and marketing within healthcare.
