Tomas Sakinis is a qualified radiologist and PhD student at Oslo University Hospital, where engagement began in September 2015. In addition to the primary role, Tomas Sakinis serves as a research collaborator at Mayo Clinic since October 2018 and previously undertook a research trainee position at the same institution in early 2018, focusing on medical image segmentation using deep learning in the Radiology Informatics Lab. Prior experience includes serving as a radiology resident at the University Hospital of Northern Norway from April 2013 to September 2015. Tomas Sakinis holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
