Jeff Hui

Jeff Hui has a range of work experience in software engineering and development. Jeff started their career as a Summer Software Programmer at MTA Long Island Rail Road in 2009, where they worked on internal-use programs in PHP and Java. In 2010, they attended a week-long course at Apple to learn iOS development. Jeff then interned at Apple Inc. in 2011 as a Software Engineering Intern. In 2012, Jeff joined Pivotal Labs as a Software Engineer, specializing in iOS mobile development but also working with Android development, backend/frontend web development, and DevOps. Jeff worked at Pivotal Labs until 2015, when they moved to Mayvenn as a Senior Software Engineer. Jeff later took on the role of Lead Engineer at Mayvenn in April 2017. Throughout their career, Jeff has also been involved in research as an Undergraduate Researcher at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they worked on socket programming and Rails interface for data aggregation systems and produced open source software with a research group.

Jeff Hui obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, attending from 2008 to 2012.
