Chris Clark has a diverse work experience in the HR field. Chris began their career as a Personnel Officer at the London Ambulance Service, where they provided HR advice and support to station managers. Chris then moved to Virgin Atlantic Airways, where they held various roles, including Senior HR Business Partner and Project Manager. At Virgin Atlantic, they provided HR support to departments such as Ground Services, Airport Services, and Cabin Crew Management.
After their time at Virgin Atlantic, Chris joined Laing O'Rourke as a Senior HR Advisor, where they provided HR advisory services and supported a redundancy and restructuring exercise. Chris then transitioned to Mazda Motors UK as the HR Director, responsible for developing and delivering HR initiatives. Chris also worked closely with Mazda's European Headquarters on pan-European initiatives.
Chris later moved to Mazda Motor Europe as the Head of Culture & Development, managing pan-European talent planning, leadership development, and performance management initiatives. Chris then took on the role of Group Manager in Global HR at Mazda Corporation in Japan, responsible for delivering global HR initiatives and supporting international assignees.
Most recently, Chris joined Mazda North American Operations as the Senior Director of HR Strategy & Operations, overseeing HR business partner and international service employee teams. Currently, they are employed by Mazda Motor Europe as the Director of Change Management Office, where they lead a team in supporting strategic projects and initiatives.
Chris Clark attended Middlesex University from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources. Prior to that, they studied at Brunel University London from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business Administration.
