Colin Shea

Colin Shea has a diverse and extensive work experience, spanning over several years. Colin'smost recent position is as a Senior Project Manager at Millsapps, Ballinger & Associates since July 2022. Previously, they worked as a Technical Project Manager at Devis from June 2019 to July 2022.

Before that, Colin held the position of Business Analyst III at Perspecta from February 2018 to June 2019. In this role, they led a development team, performed system analysis, and managed the product backlog for government federal building inventory applications. Colin also worked closely with stakeholders and wrote successful business proposals for federal government contracts.

Prior to Perspecta, Colin worked as a Business Analyst II and a Systems Engineer at Vencore Inc., with roles spanning from June 2014 to February 2018. Colin began their career as an Associate Systems Engineer at The SI Organization, Inc. from June 2012 to June 2014.

Colin also gained experience during their time as a Rapid Prototyping Lab Assistant at the University of Virginia from August 2011 to May 2012, and as an Engineering Intern at the Federal Communications Commission from July 2011 to January 2012. Colin also worked briefly as an Undergraduate Assistant at the NanoSTAR Institute from May 2011 to July 2011.

Colin Shea attended the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in November 2020, the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and CSPO certifications from the Scrum Alliance in July 2018 and April 2018 respectively, and the ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2018.
