Joann J. Hill serves as the Director of the Office of Customer Experience at the Minority Business Development Agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce, overseeing the agency’s customer experience strategy since July 2013. Previously, Joann held roles as Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary at MBDA and Chief of the Office of Business Development, where leadership included a nationwide network of MBDA Business Centers and various impactful programs. Joann has also briefly served as the Acting National Director for the U.S. Commercial Service. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Global Business from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Benedict College, and completion of the Senior Executive Fellows Program at Harvard Kennedy School.
