Wendy D. Anderson

Wendy D. Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Their most recent role is as the Interim Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Commerce for Minority Business Development at the Minority Business Development Agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce. Previously, they served as a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary in the same agency. Before joining the U.S. Department of Commerce, Wendy worked as the Chief of Staff to two U.S. Representatives and as the Deputy Chief of Staff to one of them. Wendy D. also has experience in the private sector as the Managing Director and Chief Strategist at The W Group Consulting Firm, LLC. Wendy has held various other roles, including serving on the Board of the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida and working in government and public affairs at Florida Hospital. Wendy D. has also worked in policy and program management at the American Lung Association. Additionally, Wendy has experience as a consultant at The W Group Consulting Firm and as a project manager at The Darman Group. Earlier in their career, they worked as a community development finance team consultant at Volunteers of America and as a team consultant at New Yorkers for Parks.

Wendy D. Anderson attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Magna Cum Laude honors. In 2017, they also participated in the Wilson Center Congressional Cybersecurity Lab. Most recently, in 2019, Wendy attended the Stanford Congressional Cyber & AI Boot Camp at Stanford University. However, it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from the boot camp.
