Emelia Downes

Emelia Downes is a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at MBDA, where placements have included Mechanical Design and Materials & Processes, with further roles planned in Innovation & Future Technologies and Analysis. Emelia holds part-time positions as a Super Recogniser and Facial Analyst at Facewatch, and previously contributed as a Student Team Member at Warwick Sub, focusing on non-propeller propulsion methods. Additional experience includes a Mechanical Engineering Summer Internship at MBDA and various roles within the Warwick Engineering Society, including Secretary and Welfare Officer. Emelia earned a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick and completed A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics at Queen Mary's Grammar School.
