Martin Payne

Martin Payne, MSc CEng MBCS CITP, is a Principal Software Engineer at MBDA since August 2018, specializing in software development for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and MS Windows. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer/Technologist at Baker Hughes/GE Oil & Gas, focusing on embedded software development with QNX, and as a Senior Engineer Software at GE Oil & Gas, where Martin developed an OPC server utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio 6 in C++. Additional experience includes software engineering at ABB Seatec/Offshore Systems and GEC Marconi Oil and Gas, with a strong foundation in embedded systems and real-time applications. Martin holds an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of the West of England and has a BSc in Computer Science from Coventry University.
