Bill Rizzo

Bill Rizzo currently serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at MBIA since September 2023, after a longstanding role as General Counsel for National Public Finance Guarantee Corp. from February 2011. Rizzo has extensive experience in legal counsel, having held positions such as Managing Director and Head of Insured Portfolio Management for the Western Region and Legal Consultant at Municipal and Infrastructure Assurance Corporation from November 2008 to October 2010, and General Counsel at Syncora Guarantee Inc. from April 2003 to October 2008. Rizzo's earlier career includes roles at King & Spalding, Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle, and Cerussi & Spring. Rizzo obtained a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University.
