Yu Niimi

Yu Niimi has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Yu started their career at Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. in 2006 as a Management Consultant and worked there until June 2014. From July 2014 to December 2016, they served as a Strategy & Intelligence Manager in the Corporate Strategy Department of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. In January 2017, they joined Mitsui & Co., Ltd. as the Deputy General Manager in the Corporate Development Business Unit. Later in 2019, Yu joined MBK Senior Living as a Vice President of Investments, where they worked until September 2021. Concurrently, in October 2019, they also joined MBK Real Estate Companies as a Vice President specializing in Multifamily and Industrial Investments. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President in the same company, starting from April 2023.

Yu Niimi completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Hitotsubashi University between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, Yu Niimi obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Information from Keio University from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Yu Niimi attended Stanford University in 2001 to study American Language and Culture. Yu Niimi also holds a certification as a Certified Member Analyst of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ).
