Horst Schubotz

Horst Schubotz has a strong background in functional safety, with experience working in various roles and companies throughout their career. Horst started their career at Bosch, Continental, and Bendix Electronics in 1982, where they worked as a hardware and software engineer and project manager until 1993. From 1994 to 2000, they joined Delphi Automotive Systems as a system integration specialist for x-by-wire technologies. Horst then worked at DNV Certification and Consulting as a principal consultant for functional safety from 2000 to 2005. Since 2006, they have been with MB-technology GmbH as the Head of Functional Safety, responsible for building and growing the organization's functional safety expertise, managing global safety projects, and representing the company at international conferences.
