Ramy Yakoob

Ramy Yakoob has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Ramy started their career as a Marketing Executive at Switch Media Advertising in 2008 before moving to Lazim Communication as a Sales Support Engineer. At Lazim Communication, they were responsible for managing relationships with telecom carriers and achieving sales targets. In 2010, they joined Etisalat as a Complaint Management Specialist, where they implemented governance and fine-tuned support systems for complaints.

After their tenure at Etisalat, Ramy joined Gulf Shadows as an Account Manager, where they managed the sales cycle and developed strong relationships with customers. Ramy then transitioned to Pinnacle Smart Technologies LLC as a Key Account Manager, focusing on infrastructure and security.

From 2018 to 2021, Ramy worked at Redington Value, where they held two roles: Product Manager and Cyber Security Channel Account Manager. Their responsibilities included managing products and accounts in the cybersecurity sector.

In 2021, they joined Westcon ME as a Territory Sales Manager, overseeing the growth of cybersecurity products in Pakistan and the Gulf region. Under their leadership, the company experienced a significant revenue growth in 2022.

Currently, Ramy is the Head of Cyber Security at MBUZZ, where they lead the cybersecurity department. Overall, Ramy has gained extensive experience in cybersecurity sales and management throughout their career.

Ramy Yakoob completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communications from PA College of Engineering, VTU Karnataka, from 2002 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Security Systems Technician Training Course certificate from the Dubai Police Academy in November 2015, and Welcome Partners (CPSC) certification from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd in October 2022.
