Tyler Carner

Tyler Carner has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Tyler is currently working as the Senior Director, Controller at MBX Biosciences, Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Talaris Therapeutics where they held various positions, including Senior Director, Finance & Controller, Director of Finance & Controller, and Controller from 2020 to 2023. Before Talaris Therapeutics, Carner was a Senior Accounting Analyst at Churchill Downs Incorporated from 2017 to 2020. Tyler also served as an Accounting Manager in the Hospital Division of Kindred Healthcare from 2016 to 2017. Carner began their career at PwC, where they held positions as a Senior Associate from 2016 to 2016 and as an Associate from 2012 to 2015. Tyler gained initial experience as an intern in Global Financial Reporting at Tempur-Pedic in 2011.

Tyler Carner attended the University of Kentucky from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance, General. Tyler then pursued further education at the University of Kentucky from 2011 to 2012, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting. In January 2016, Tyler Carner obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy.
