John Finnell

John Finnell is a finance and economics student at the University of Pittsburgh, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as a TMT Leveraged Finance Analyst at Capital One since May 2023, John previously held the position of Leveraged Finance Intern. John is also the Senior Financial Analyst and Head of New Member Education at the Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio, the largest student-managed investment fund at the university, managing over $1,000,000 in assets with a focus on socially responsible investing. In addition, John interned at Birgo Capital in Acquisitions and Asset Management, enhancing modeling skills, and has experience in content marketing as a writer at Farotech, where responsibilities included producing diverse content for various industries. John's involvement with Junior Achievement USA spanned four years, from June 2016 to April 2020.
