M.sc. Sean Farrell P.geo.

Sean Farrell, M.Sc., P.Geo. has a diverse work experience as a geologist in the mining industry. Sean is currently employed at McEwen Mining Inc. as the Chief Exploration Geologist, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Project Geologist at the same company from February 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining McEwen Mining, Sean worked as an Exploration Geologist at Workforce Inc. from September 2020 to February 2021. Sean was responsible for conducting geological surveys and analyzing data to identify potential mining sites.

Sean also gained experience as a Geologist at Fladgate Exploration Consulting Corporation from April 2020 to August 2020. During this time, they conducted fieldwork and collected geological samples for analysis.

In 2019, Sean worked as an Exploration Geologist at McEwen Mining Inc., where they contributed to various exploration projects. Sean'stenure at this company lasted from June 2019 to March 2020.

Sean's career in the mining industry began at Kirkland Lake Gold in 2005, where they worked as an Exploration Geologist until August 2012. Sean then progressed to the role of Senior Exploration Geologist, which they held from August 2012 to June 2019. During their time at Kirkland Lake Gold, Sean was involved in a range of exploration activities and played a key role in identifying potential mining prospects.

Sean Farrell, M.Sc., P.Geo. began their education at Carleton University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science. Sean later continued their studies at the University of Ottawa from 2002 to 2005, earning a Master of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. In addition to their educational qualifications, Sean also obtained a certification as a Professional Geoscientist from the Professional Geoscientists Ontario in August 2012.
