Paul Demers

Paul Demers has extensive experience in underground mining, currently serving as UG Mine Superintendent at McEwen Mining Inc. since October 2017. Previously, Paul held various roles at Primero Mining Corp, including UG Mine Captain, demonstrating a strong ability to supervise and coordinate mining activities while developing strategic objectives. At Goldcorp Inc. from 2008 to 2013, Paul excelled as a Training Coordinator and Project Supervisor, overseeing training programs and managing contracts, while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Earlier positions included Training Coordinator at St Andrew Goldfields Ltd., Miner 1 at Kinross Gold Corporation, and Drift Leader at Kidd Creek Mine, each contributing to a robust skill set in mining operations and leadership. Paul holds several licenses and certificates, including Duly Diligent Mining Supervisor and Project Management Fundamentals. Paul graduated from Roland Mitchner Secondary School with a Grade 12 diploma.
