Richard Brissenden

Richard Brissenden is an experienced director and executive with a longstanding history in the mining industry. Since January 2012, Brissenden has served as a Director and Audit Committee Chair at McEwen Mining Inc. and its predecessor, Minera Andes Inc. Notably, Brissenden held various leadership roles at Banro Corp, including Chairman and Executive Chairman, from December 2013 to April 2018. Additional appointments include Director and Audit Committee Chair positions at Lexam VG Gold Inc., PC Gold Inc., and Minaurum Gold Inc., among others. Brissenden's tenure at Excellon Resources Inc. from March 1991 to December 2010 included roles as Honourary Chairman, Director, Chairman, and President, where Brissenden contributed significantly to the company's growth and capital raising initiatives.
