Are you a skilled service technician in commercial integrated security systems with a minimum of four years of experience, particularly with Genetec? We have an exciting new opportunity available at MCA Communications, arising from the ongoing expansion of our operations spanning over two decades.
As a Genetec Field Service Technician at MCA Communications, you'll be adept at servicing and troubleshooting all Genetec systems. This role requires the ability to interpret building and electrical plans as part of the troubleshooting process. Moreover, building strong customer relationships to ensure their needs are met is crucial. Emphasizing professionalism and effective communication is paramount in this position.
We offer comprehensive training, including in-house, manufacturer, field, and industry-specific training.
The role mandates a minimum of four years of Genetec experience, with overtime opportunities available. The listed pay range is a starting point and will be commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate an environment focused on achieving ultimate customer satisfaction.
Installation, troubleshooting, repair, and programming of access control systems, CCTV, digital recorders, and intercom systems.
Mentor and guide junior technicians on proper techniques, customer service, and overall performance and development.
Advocate for, educate on, and implement ESS (Electronic Security Systems) procedures.
Collaborate directly with service and installation teams.
Participate in on-call service rotation.
Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and regulatory rules and regulations.
Uphold ethical and prudent conduct in all company actions.
Maintain ongoing communication with scheduling and operations regarding work status.
