Natasha Gorski

Managing Director, Advanced Technology at McAllister & Quinn

Natasha Gorski, PMP has extensive experience in project management and research and development. Natasha started their career as a Floor Clerk at Mahaska Drug Pharmacy, where they gained valuable customer service and task switching skills. Natasha then worked as a Research Intern at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, where they conducted genetic research on asthma and presented their findings. Natasha also interned at Musco Lighting, where they conducted research on LED optic construction and made recommendations for improvement.

Natasha's career then led their to Carnegie Mellon University, where they worked as a Research Associate in the Bettinger Research Group. There, they worked on projects involving the synthesis of silver nanowire meshes and the optimization of electrode manufacturing for drug release in contact lenses.

After their time at Carnegie Mellon, Natasha joined Interphase Materials as an Engineering Consultant, where they designed experiments, researched alternative chemistries, and wrote grant proposals. Natasha then progressed to become the Lead Engineer at the company, overseeing OSHA compliance and managing the chemical inventory and lab.

Natasha later became the Engineering Project Manager at Interphase Materials, where they created the project management function within the Operations team and accurately tracked and managed federal R&D contracts. Natasha then advanced to the role of Research and Development Manager, where they led the R&D team, expanded funding acquisition, and grew the breadth of the technology portfolio.

In 2021, Natasha worked as a Proposal and Project Management Consultant before joining UNT BioDiscovery Institute as a Proposal Manager. In this role, they enhanced the institute's research funding by increasing the quantity and quality of submissions and organizing larger collaborative grant submissions.

Currently, Natasha works as the Director of Advanced Technology at McAllister & Quinn.

Natasha Gorski, PMP, has a strong educational background in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. Natasha obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, which they pursued from 2015 to 2016. Prior to their master's degree, Natasha completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Materials Science and Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Natasha Gorski has also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2021. This certification demonstrates their expertise and proficiency in project management, further complementing their educational background in Materials Science and Engineering.
