Kraig Whalen

Kraig Whalen, CSP, CET, has extensive experience in safety management, currently serving as the Global Technical Safety Lead at McCain Foods since September 2017. In addition, Kraig has held the position of Director of Safety at Valdes Engineering Company since March 2011, where responsibilities include coordinating safety, compliance, and training, leading to multiple awards including "America’s Safest Companies" in 2013. Previous roles include Director of Safety at Superior Mechanical and Safety Consultant at Complete Safety Inc., focusing on compliance and training for various organizations. Kraig also has a background in residential construction safety management as a Safety and Construction Superintendent for Kensington Estates Custom Homes and Leach Homes Inc. Kraig holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Lewis University, obtained in 1988.
