Duke Richey has extensive experience in academia, serving as faculty at McCallie School since 2010. Prior to this role, Duke held positions as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas from August 2008 to August 2010, and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at both Pacific Lutheran University and Whitman College. Duke's teaching portfolio includes courses on U.S. History, the American West, and Environmental History, with several graduate-level offerings. Duke began a career in education at North Carolina Outward Bound, instructing courses in outdoor skills and environmental studies from 1991 to 1997. Duke Richey earned a Ph.D. in American History from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master's degree in History and Environmental Studies from the University of Montana, and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources and History from The University of the South.
