Jonathan Schechter

Jonathan Schechter has over three decades of experience in finance and leadership roles within the advertising industry. Jonathan started their career as a Finance Director at JWT in 1987 and held this position until 2002. Schechter then worked as a Finance Director at Euro RSCG from 2003 to 2004, and at Draftfcb from 2004 to 2007. Jonathan joined McCann Erickson in 2007 and served as VP, Director of Client Finance until 2012, and then as VP of Finance until 2013. From 2013 to 2020, Schechter held various senior finance roles at McCann HumanCare, including SVP Finance Director and VP Finance. In 2016, they also took on the role of EVP Finance Director at McCann Health New York.

Jonathan Schechter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Queens College, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Prior to that, they attended the University of Maryland from 1980 to 1982, majoring in Political Science as well. Jonathan later pursued further education at Baruch College, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business, completing their studies from 1985 to 1988.
