Pete Johnson

Pete Johnson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. Pete is currently working as the EVP Global Executive Creative Director at McCann New York since November 2021. In addition, they own Campground Beer Market, a unique craft beer experience located in Sea Cliff NY.

Before their current roles, Pete Johnson worked at Deutsch as the Executive Creative Director from June 2016 to October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Executive Creative Director at Arnold Worldwide from August 2013 to June 2016, and also served as the Group Creative Director from January 2012 to August 2013.

Pete Johnson's earlier experiences include working as the Group Creative Director at LBi US from June 2010 to January 2012, Creative Director at Tribal DDB NY from 2007 to June 2010, Sr. Copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather from 2004 to 2007, Senior Copywriter at MRM Worldwide from 2002 to 2004, Copywriter at Zentropy Partners from 1999 to 2001, and Content Developer at Cognitive Arts from 1998 to 1999.

Pete Johnson holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Rhode Island.
