Nannette LaFond-Dufour

Global President & Chief Client Officer at McCann Worldgroup

Nannette LaFond-Dufour was named President, Global Clients & Business Leadership, in 2018. She was promoted from her previous role as Chief Client Officer, which she assumed in 2015 in order to oversee McCann Worldgroup’s global integrated communications capabilities. Prior to that, Nannette served as President of McCann L’Oréal’s Beauty Team based in Paris.

Nannette’s many responsibilities include strategic and operational oversight over all of McCann Worldgroup's global and key regional accounts, ensuring that all of these clients are receiving the required geographic and discipline resources needed for their business success.

In addition, Nannette serves as director of McCann Worldgroup’s global sustainability efforts. Sustainability is considered a business imperative and Nannette is in charge of leading the strategy for the going-forward transformation of sustainability practices for both McCann Worldgroup and our clients.

In 2016, Nannette was named to Advertising Age’s “Women to Watch” list, which recognizes trailblazing and outstanding women in advertising, marketing and the media.

Nannette brings to her role 25+ years of experience planning and executing global brand campaigns for companies like P&G, Nestlé, Pepsi, Philips Electronics, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining McCann, she had been Global Business Director for the Johnson & Johnson business at DDB Paris and New York, overseeing all J&J beauty brands on a global basis.

Nannette’s performance as a global client leader has contributed to McCann Worldgroup’s continued success and growth. The McCann Worldgroup network was recognized by Adweek as the 2019 Global Agency of the Year and named to Fast Company’s prestigious list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2020. The network was named Network of the Year at the 2019 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and ranked #1 on the 2019 Global Effie Effectiveness Index as well as the #1 advertising agency network for creative effectiveness in the 2020 WARC Effective 100 rankings. The network was also recognized as the #1 advertising agency network for promoting good in the 2020 Good Report, a collaboration by WARC and ACT Responsible, and was named for the 5th year in a row to Advertising Age’s prestigious “A-List”.
