Ben Covert

Ben Covert, PMP, currently serves as a Renewable Energy Quality Assistant Project Manager and Renewable Energy Quality Fellow at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. since January 2024. With a robust military background, Covert accumulated significant experience in the US Navy from May 2008 to February 2024, holding multiple leadership roles such as Future Operations Planner, Strategic Planner, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, Current Operations Associate Project Manager, Officer in Charge, and Platoon Commander. Throughout these positions, Covert demonstrated expertise in cross-functional collaboration, project management, risk analysis, and operational planning across various countries. Covert is also a Fellow at The Honor Foundation, focusing on supporting transitioning service members. Covert holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University and received education from the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF).
