Denzil D'Sa

Denzil D'Sa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors, currently serving as Preconstruction Director at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. since August 2015. Denzil has held various roles including Senior Preconstruction Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Senior Estimator, Estimator, and Project Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as Project Controls Cost Engineer at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals, where Denzil managed bi-weekly labor and cost reports, oversaw construction metrics for liquefied natural gas plants, and generated client invoices while aligning budgets. Denzil contributed to recruitment efforts as a Bechtel Student Ambassador and gathered valuable experience as a Project Controls Cost Engineering Intern during a multi-billion dollar LNG project. Early in the career, Denzil gained hands-on experience as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley and actively engaged in community service through Global Brigades, Inc. Denzil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley.
